The day after Miss C’s birthday we had a fabulous photo shoot with my gorgeous and incredibly talented SarahCphotography. I love photo shoots with Sarah I think it’s because I feel completely comfortable with her! She always seems to get the best from us. This is probably our 4th one here’s the last one we had with her. We’ve all changed so much and obviously the 3 of us became 4. Simply can’t wait to see ALL Eeeeeek, so excited, here’s a wee sneaky peek!

Dubai Miracle gardens
For Miss C’s birthday we took a trip to Dubai miracle gardens……..The Miracle being I found the farking place. PHEW it was NOT easy I can tell you, especially with an address like Al Barsha south to work with, I put it in the GPS and it took me to Al Barsha south to be exact a big pile of Sand in Al Barsha farking south. Then a light bulb moment hit me or I stopped being blonde you say potato etc so into the GPS I put Dubai Miracle garden, hey presto, we found it…..We just could find the way in…TURN LEFT TURN LEFT TURN LEFT……I CANNOT TURN LEFT!!!!!!!! *tries to throw iPad out the window* any way after a lot of oh darn it and cheese n rice *kids in the car* we got in .
I have to say it was well worth the stress of trying to find, anything you can possibly imagine made out of flowers…and it’s good to see Dubai have finally found a good use for all the car left at the airport by fleeing resident in the recession!! Stick some flowers in em and they’ll look all pretty. It has a wee cafe that sell the basics , you know ice creams, popcorn, teas, coffee which is all shaded . This is good as the rest of the place is really not that well shaded, it’s definitely just a place you can visit in winter months only, then with a hat and plenty of suncream applied.
As most things here in Dubai are ridiculously expensive I wasn’t pleasantly surprised AED20 for adults (about 4 quid) and under 3’s go free, check it out here of course they’re not stopping there, phase 2 is already underway, I hope they don’t ruin it.
Here’s a few wee pics

June round up
As yesterday we hit July, it’s quite scary how quickly this year is going. I’ve been inspired by Atlantamumofthree by doing a review of the month of June through a few photo’s and a wee bit of writing…….
The good stuff
Well at the beginning of the month we went to Centre parcs right here in the Netherlands, it was Miss C’s first family holiday. It was lovely to get away just the four of us. LPV got to do the things he loves, swimming & running in the woods
We hit a milestone, a certain little miss turned 4 months
Not only did I get a whole 48 hours away by myself but I got to fly home without children, enjoy a pleasant flight and get to spend my Mammy’s birthday with her
Whilst I was at my parents, LPV got to meet Thomas the tank engine, EPD said he’d never seen him sit so still
Daddy got two lovely cards this year on Fathers day, we spent a great day at the aviodrome
June included a lot of personal growth for me!!! I baked ALOT and i also made this
I also got LPV to eat Spinach pancakes by calling them Henry’s pancakes, THATS a huge thing in our house!!
However the biggest thing of all was our baby’s 3rd birthday!! Grandma & Granddad came form the UK and stayed for a whole & days which was great fun
The Shit stuff
Thankfully not much shit stuff, apart from daddy being away for two weeks, luckily he was home for LPV’s party but unfortunately had to miss his birthday. Even more shit was the fact he was in Dubai without us, we would have loved to celebrate LPV’s birthday there too!!
So, that was our June, how was yours??
