Today we took LPV to Sharjah petting zoo, what a fantastic morning out. Although it’s about a 45 minute to hour drive it was really worth it. We got a chance to feed the baboon some nut and the ducks & geese sweetcorn, we had a really fun time we met an anteater, armadillo, ducks, horses and a wee baby rabbit which LPV promptly smacked on the head. However his favourite part of the zoo was the posh paws dog kennels. All the wee dogs were barking away and LPV thought it was hilarious. We are now thinking that we’ll be getting a dog sooner rather than later.
I was really pleasantly surprised at the standard of care that the animals received, the petting is free and run on donations. I didn’t know it existed until a friend recommended it to me. We’ll be sure to go back during the cooler months. it was a great opportunity for LPV be hands on with animals and a great learning opportunity for kids.
