Happy St Patrick’s day everyone!!!
Legend has it that St Patrick banished the snakes from Ireland, looks like he left a few in charge of Irelands budget thou!! Any hoo, this day means different things to different people, to some a day off work, perhaps it’s a day to get wrecked because your country doesn’t celebrate their saint’s day!! and maybe for some it’s a day of religion, a time to reflect on those who make sacrifices for others!! For me it has always been a day of celebration even more so now LPV is here with us, this time last year I found out I was carrying a wee man inside me, now my wee man is here and life with him is amazing!!.
The week before I had the worse sonographer in the world, with no bedside manner and arse the size of the solar system she told me she couldn’t see my baby or its hearbeat cos I was too fat!! News fash bright spark I’m pregnant!! After being completely hysterical for a week, I went back to be scanned. We left this scan on top of the world with a 3D photo of our wee boy. I was on top of the world and sent a text to all my friends, Nik was about to drop I had a funny feeling about her and I knew something was up, she was otherwise engaged with breaking waters, so a big happy birthday for tomorrow for Master AC!!!!! From that day I think we did a terrible job of hiding the truth from people, however did a good job of playing surprised when we told LPV was born.
So right now LPV is celebrating his first St Pat’s with a long snooze (hopefully) and swim later, tonight will be a quiet celebration for us, Irish stew for dinner (which I’m supposed to be preparing for now) and some good conversation with some close friends.
Have a great day and for those of you who are going to P.A.R.T.Y check out what’s happening tonight in Dubai at http://www.wordofmouth.ae/
